About

Hi! My name is Marta I’m a designer living and working in Toronto. I graduated from OCAD University in 2012, where I studied Design and Illustration. I am a jack of all trades and a master of a few, such as brand system design, lettering and editorial design. I have a knack for strong conceptual thinking while maintaining a sense of playfulness and fun in my work. 

I have been running a full-time freelance practice since January 2018, but I previously worked as an in-house designer for The National Ballet of Canada and was a Senior Designer at Toronto branding studio Sovereign State. Additionally, I have taught at the Toronto Film School in their accelerated design program and was a design mentor in the Graphic Design program at Humber College. 

Over the years, I have had the privilege of working with a wide range of clients across industries, from small businesses to multinational corporations.

Over the years I have challenged myself with daily projects. My first series started in 2012 and ended in 2014. In 2015, I designed a letter a day for over a year. Since 2018, I have been doing a daily 20-minute design.
