No Country for Old Men

This was an academic project that was completed in November 2010. The requirement was to create a poster for the movie No Country for Old Men, along with a set of title sequences. I chose to take a different path with this project and utilize a more illustrative approach. I chose watercolour, a material that I struggled with for a long time in order to finish the product. Watercolour is chaotic in the sense that it is easy to lose control of it. The characters in the movie all assume that they have control over their lives, but one by one they realize that they don't. I wanted the use of my materials to represent the uncertainty that the characters faced in the film.
